26. Fees Schedule 27. Admission under Self Financing Scheme at Centre of Excellence in Art & Design, MUET, Jamshoro A   small   number   of   students   are   admitted   to   the   Centre   of   Excellence   in   Art   &   Design,   MUET,   Jamshoro   as full   fee   paying   students.   At   preset   their   number   is   fixed   by   the   Federal   Ministry   of   Education   at   25%   of   the   total regular   seats   available   at   the   Centre.   Keeping   in   view   of   interest,   a   maximum   No.   of   12   seats   will   be   allowed   in anyone   discipline.   Admission   tests   on   the   basis   of   open   merit   for   this   scheme   are   identical   to   those   conducted   for other   schemes.   An   equally   high   merit   in   the   test   is   required   to   qualify   for   admission   as   a   full-fee   paying   /   self financing   student. The   self   finance   fee   amounting   to   Rs.400,000.00/=   (Four   Hundred Thousand   Only)   +Tax   total   Rs. 420,000.00   for   the   full   length   of   the   course   in   the   discipline   of   Fine   Arts   only   and   Rs.550,000.00   (   Five   Hundred   & Fifty    Thousand    Only)    +Tax    total    Rs.    577,500.00        for    the    full    length    of    course    in    the    disciplines    of    Textile, Communication   Design   and   Architecture   and   Planning   is   required   in   addition   to   the   Regular   Scheme   Fee   as applicable   to   other   students.   The   fee   will   be   non   refundable   after   the   admission   process   is   completed,   regardless   a student is expelled from the Centre or voluntarily withdraws admission at any stage. 28. Admission under Centre Support Program For   this   scheme   a   total   number   of   12   seats   have   been   reserved   for   all   disciplines   of   the   centre.   Keeping   in view   of   interest,   a   maximum   No.   of   5   seats   will   be   allowed   in   anyone   discipline.      The   basic   requirement   for admission   will   be   same   as   approved   for   admission   under   regular   scheme.   All   candidates   applying   under   this scheme   must   have   passed   the   Pre Admission Test   conducted   by   the   Centre.   For   this   scheme   the   candidates   will   be required   to   pay   Rs   700,000.00   (Rupees   Seven   Hundred   Thousands   only   once)   +Tax   total   Rs.   735,000.00   in   the form   of   demand   draft   prepared   by   any   branch   of   Bank   in   favor   of   Director,   Centre   of   Excellence   in   Art   &   Design, MUET,   Jamshoro   for   admission   under   this   scheme   in   addition   to   other   normal   fees   etc,   payable   by   the   students under   regular   scheme.   The   draft   in   original   be   submitted   along   with   the   admission   form.   The   fee   will   be   non refundable   after   the   admission   process   is   completed,   regardless   a   student   is   expelled   from   the   Centre   or   voluntarily withdraws admission at any stage. 29. Migration / Transfer Policy Migration   is   only   allowed   to   and   from   a   public   sector   University/Institute   and   foreign   University/Institute recognized by Higher Education Commissions (HEC) Migration/Transfer is not allowed to the students admitted on reciprocal basis. Migration/Transfer   is   allowed   only   in   the   cases   of   extreme   hardship   for   the   students   or   if   it   is   considered   in the   best   interest   of   the   university   by   the   competent   authority.   The   decision   of   the   university   is   final   and   binding   in this regard. The   Students   failing   in   previous   Terms/Semesters   shall   not   be   eligible   for   admission   on   migration/transfer basis. The   migration/transfer   of   the   local   students   would   be   allowed   on   the   payment   of   Rs.   800,000.00   (Rupees Eight   Hundred   Thousand   only)   to   the   Centre   of   Excellence   in   Art   &   Design,   MUET,   Jamshoro;   while   foreigner students   would   be   required   to   pay   Rs.   1,200,000.00   (Rupees   twelve   hundred   thousand   only)   as   migration   fee.   The nominees will be required to submit the No Objection Certificate (NOC) of the nominating agency. Admission on migration basis will be made up to fourth week of the start of the classes of particular session. Migration/transfer is not allowed to the students in the first and final year. 30. Advance Tax and withholding tax Advance   Tax   on   payment   of   fee   to   Educational   Institutions   (section   2361).   As   per   newly   inserted   section 2361   every   educational   institution   is   required   to   collect   advance   income   tax   at   the   rate   of   5%   on   the   amount   of   fee paid   to   an   educational   institution.   The   person   responsible   for   preparing   monthly,   bimonthly   or   quarterly   fee   voucher or challan shall also be charge withholding tax in case the fee exceeds two hundred thousand rupees annually. 31. CEAD Kinship Real sons/daughters/brothers/sisters of CEAD employees may apply in this category. (i) The Eligibility: The Admission eligibility criteria will be same as applicable to the regular students. (ii) Admission/annual fee The   Real   sons/daughters/brothers/sisters   of   CEAD   employees   will   be   exempted   to   pay Admission   and   tuition fee in every year/semester. (iii)     Distribution    of    seats    of    real    sons/daughters/brothers/sisters    of    CEAD    employees    in    following manner: Real   sons/daughters/brothers/sisters   of   CEAD   employee   (serving   or   retired,   deceased,   on   lien   or   working   on deputation   with   other   Institution)   shall   be   considered   for   admission   to   first   year   class   against   the   reserved   seats   on the following criteria: 1. First   preference   will   be   given   to   real   sons/daughters   of   employees   who   are   confirmed   in   the   Centre   service and have atleast three years continuous Centre service at their credit. 2. Second   preference   will   be   given   to   real   sons/daughters   of   employees   who   are   not   confirmed   in   the   Centre service and have atleast three years continuous Centre service at their credit. 3. Third   preference   will   be   given   to   real   brothers/sisters   of   employees   who   are   confirmed   in   the   Centre   service and have atleast three years continuous Centre service at their credit. 4. Fourth   preference   will   be   given   to   real   brothers/sisters   of   employees   who   are   not   confirmed   in   the   Centre service and have atleast three years continuous Centre service at their credit. 5. Fifth   preference   will   be   given   to   real   sons/daughter   of   employees   who   are   confirmed   in   the   Centre   service and have less than three years continuous Centre Service at their credit. 6. Sixth   preference   will   be   given   to   real   sons/daughter   of   employees   who   are   not   confirmed   in   the   Centre service and have less than three years continuous Centre Service at their credit. 7. Seventh   preference   will   be   given   to   real   brothers/sisters   of   employees   who   are   confirmed   in   the   Centre service and have less than three years continuous Centre Service at their credit. 8. Eight   preference   will   be   given   to   real   brothers/sisters   of   employees   who   are   not   confirmed   in   the   Centre service and have less than three years continuous Centre Service at their credit. Note:   The   merit   with   regard   to   this   category   of   real   sons/daughters/brothers/sisters   of   CEAD   employees   will   be determined   as   per   policy   of   the   Centre. A   copy   of   the   appointment   order,   confirmation   order   and Affidavit   regarding relationship with candidate of the employee is to be attached with the admission form. 32.   Other information Admission fee is payable only once in the beginning. Eligibility The eligibility criteria is same as stated in clause 9.2 above.
